MFT Superstar contest : Clean & simple

Image
Hi everyone  I'm back with another card for MFT contest and this time for Clean &simple category . As you might noticed , usually my cards are not clean and simple as i like to create scenes with lots of critters and details. But you know what ? I kinda love clean & simple card too just that I don't oft create them. Now for my project today i wanted to keep things very simple so here it's my card. I started by masking a square on my main panel using some masking tape and started ink blending my sky for the scene.  The colors that I've used are Cracked Pistachio , Peacock Feathers , Blueprint Sketch Distress inks.  Up in the air stamp set from MFT is the star of the show today and i've colored my images uisng Spectrum Noir Alcohol markers and the fussy cut the images. To add a bit of dimension  I added some foam tape for the clouds and the little dog , and lastly i stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set  Thank you for stopping by today ! Have a lovely

Hi everyone! Can you believe it's again time for the awesome contest from MFT  Card Design Superstar? I'm love playing along with this contest as it always motivates me to get out of my comfort zone and create a bit more different cards than usual. So here it is the card I made for this  category . I'm always intimidated by the coloring backgrounds , but i thought that this two raccoons will love to have fun near the sea and enjoy a few more days of summer :) For my card i used the adorable raccoons called Harvest buddies which happens to be one of my fav sets from MFT. To color my images and also the background i used my alcohol markers Spectrum Noir . To add some more details to the scene i also used a white and a black gel pen . Hope you like how this sunset scene turned out , thank you for stopping  Have a lovely day !  Entering my card to  Card Design Superstar

Happy birthday

Hello everyone  I'm today on Butterfly reflections ink blog  sharing with you a birthday card using Lawn Fawn products . I feel like I never have enough birthday cards so I try to create them as oft as I can . One of my favorite ways to create cards is to combine different sets and create scenes . The fact that I had some of the images already fussy cut and colored is such a bonus in seeing the color scheme and playing around with different images to see what works well together. For my card today I started by gathering the images from Screen time stamp set ,   Holiday Helpers stamp set , Keep on swimming stamp set and Christmas dreams stamp set and to color them I used Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. Once I was happy with the positioning was time to think about the background , so I decided to go with the  Snowy backdrop Lawn cuts , which honestly I would love to have in my room as wall paper :) and because I wanted the background to contrast the image

Valentine's day treat boxes

Image
Hello everyone It's been a while since sharing here , but I wanted to show you some fun treat boxes that I made for my boys for the upcoming Valentine's day . I'm not that much into creating projects for Valentine's day , but this year i'm going to make a twist on it an all my projects for Valentine's day will be teal / aqua or blue :) I find that I could so easily use the cards/projects for different occasions not just for Valentine's day. Also the inspiration for today's project came from the new challenge from Lawn Fawnatics - Something old , something new which let's face it we all have some unused dies or stamps that are patiently waiting for us to use them :) So way back when I was a newbie in crafting and way before I knew that dies exist I was buying magazines where you would get templates for all kind of projects :) from there are the triangles that are the treat boxes here on my project. I really love that you can glue them tog

MFT Superstar contest Innovation Master

Hello everyone ! Finally I was able to finish my last card for the Superstar Contest from MFT and for this category i managed to create another scene and i hope you like it For this card I started by cutting a piece of cardstock at 25cm long and 13cm wide then to have a guide on where to stamp my critters i marked the paper at 1cm , 5cm , 9cm , 13cm, 17cm and 21cm. After that the fun beginned . I started stamping and masking the critters in order to create my scene  This step took a while but totally worth it as the scene was slowly starting to take shape. Once everything was ready I had to cut some masks for the water and hills so i took a piece of paper and draw some shapes which then i cut using my scissors . Using inks I started ink blending the background and i'm really happy with how it turned out .Cause i wanted to add some more details i went ahead and added a few splatters of white paint . The most fun part was to take off all the masking ta

MFT Superstar contest Coloring virtuoso

Hi everyone As you can tell by the title and playing along again with MFT Superstar contest and here is my card for Coloring Virtuoso Now I have to say I was pretty hesitant to play along in this category as I don't think that my coloring skills are so out of this world , but you know what I sat at my desk and started coloring and really enjoyed doing it . And the final result made me happy so I guess is a win win situation :) Also getting out of my comfort zone with this card as I normally make A2 cards but this time I decided to create a whole scene and also making a one layer card . So I picked the cute critters from Jungle Gym stamp set from MFT and started stamping them using MFT Black licorice hybrid  ink and then started creating mask for every image , as I was planning to ink blend the background. I wanted to create a soft background, to have the images the star of the show and I also added some white paint splatters and a few clouds that I made with
