Mama Elephant - Yeti in the city ( 1 stamp set 2 cards )

Hello everyone!

I'm stopping today to share two card using Mama Elephant -Yeti in the City stamp set

The first card is  an Clean and Simple one and wanted the coloring to be the focal point . I stamped the image using Mememto Dew Drops ink in Desert Sand colour and using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers I tried to achieve the no line coloring . Inked the background using Distress ink - Peacock Feathers , added the sentiment and some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and the card is finished .

For the second card I am using Lawn Fawn - Stitched Hillside Backdrop Portrait dies and also Puffy Clouds borders to create the main panel. Inked the sky using the same Peacock Feathers ink and the adhered everything  using foam tape .

You can also check the video that I created for this two cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a lovely day!

Create a smile Facebook Challenge Clean and Simple

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a clean and simple card that was inspired by the brand new challenge that Create a smile company started on their Facebook group called Create a Smile Friends & Family

I have some exciting news too : I am thrilled to let you know that I am the new DT challenge coordinator for Create a smile stamps .

When I discovered Create a smile stamps maybe like a year and half ago I was very impressed , and immediately felt in love by their unique designs and the fact that they are located in Germany was a bonus ( cause I don't have to wait to long for the happy mail to arrive :)) So being already a fan girl :) when Christine ( the owner of Create a smile ) asked me if I wanna be their DT Challenge Coordinator I was so happy and being grateful.

So to kick a start to the challenge me and Christine we we're thinking that would be nice to start with something easy so the theme for this month challenge is Clean and Simple , and here is my take on the ch…

Floral Hugs card/ no line coloring

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

Stopping today to share my first card from this year , and I know you are used to see a lot of cute critters , but I want to challenge myself to try different designs and techniques this year.

So for this card I decided to pick the stamp set from Create a smile called In bloom and color the images using  the no line coloring technique using my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers .
I started by stamping the images using a light ink color and then adding layers of color with my markers from dark to light, until I was happy with how the image turned out.

I will also have a video on sharing step by step the process of making this card , so feel free to check it out .
Once the coloring is done I will fussy cut the images and arrange them the way I like it better , then stamp the sentiment which is from Create a smile Your view stamp set
Finishing this card with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins .
Thank you for stopping by ! have a lovely day !

Alcohol inks background

Hello everyone!

DT Ale here today sharing a fun way how to stretch your alcohol markers and ink blending solution. And here is the card that I made using alcohol markers and stamps and dies from Craftin Desert Divas
Before I share the steps on how I created this card I just wanted to say that this will be my last card as part of Craftin Desert Divas design team .
A big thank you to Tara and the design team for the amazing time spent together . Was such a beautiful experience to be part of this design team and looking forward to see all your upcoming  projects

Now to my card :)

To start my card I picked a piece of photo paper. For this technique you really need to play a bit around and see what works best for you. For example I scribble with my markers on the glossy photo paper and when I added the ink blending solution ... nothing happend :)

I was pretty disappointed , but then decided not to give up and turned the paper scribbled again with the markers ...

added the ink blending solu…
