Miss you , pig time

Hello again

I am having another card to share with you today , and this time is the card that I made for the Monthly Challenge from Gerda Steiner Designs

Made this card using the challenge image which is that adorable cute little pig. My story for this card is that this little pig is missing his family and one night he took a fly and he used his parachute to land safe at home :)
I wish I could do the same since I haven't seen my family in so long time :( but for now my little guy here made his dreams come true.
I colored him with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers and for his glasses to add a bit of interest I added 2 layers of Glossy Accents.
For the background I used my inks from Simon Says Stamp : Hot Mama and High Dive . The stars that I sed and embossed with white embossing powder are from Lawn Fawn - Mermaid for you stamp set.
To finish up I added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and adhered the pig with foam tape! The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Hog Heaven.

Tyroid Awareness Month Blog Hop

Hi everyone I am stopping by today to share with you the card that I made for Thyroid Awareness Month Blog hop organised by Milka Gubo Not sure if you knew but January is Thyroid Awareness Month and the purpose of this blog hop is to raise awareness about Thyroid diseases and problems . Milka was so sweet to organised this blog and she gathered 26 designers all over the world that will share their creations starting from 5th January till 30th January . Here is the card that I've created inspired by the fact that the Thyroid looks like a butterfly , I took the Butterflies stamp set from Avery Elle and colored using Spectrum Noir markers. Next I glue the larger butterfly on my panel which was die cut using Create a smile Scalloped rectangles dies and after that I took the Twice the Hugs die cut from My Favorite things and die cut into the panel.
